Ankole cattle auction at Phala Phala farm – Samkele Maseko updates

The much anticipated Ankole cattle auction takes place at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm in Bela Bela in Limpopo on Saturday.

The breed is one of the world’s most sought-after.

The EFF has threatened to protest at the venue, following allegations that the president tried to cover up a burglary at the farm involving millions of dollars following a game auction at the farm in 2020.

Let’s cross now to our reporter at the farm, Samkele Maseko.

  3. Ankole cows are everywhere in Uganda and Rwanda. BanyAnkole is a tribe in Uganda that main trade is cattle farming of Ankole or Watutsi cows, they are not a rare breed nor cost a fortune. How a very common cow breed in Rwanda called Watutsi cows just across the boarders becomes a rarest breed in South Africa? There have been wars of occupation going on in East of Congo for the past 26 years that have cost over 10 million lives, highly profitable wars for rare and trategic minerals, obviously arms supply to those regions comes mainly from SA. This makes a possibility to think the Ankole cows saga link with the activities of everending wars transactions in Congo. Rwandan and Ugadan armies have been fighting in Congo under the umbrella of rebel groups that occupies East of Congo where they mine strategic minerals. of course large transactions of gold and US dollars are involved and are paid to whoever in the circle that supplies everything to sustain the activities. Knowing that US dollars is used in those countries as local currency. It smells like the cows, and the couch cash are just the top of an iceberg.

  4. Black hatred. There is nothing wrong with Ramaphosa owning a farm and trading with cows from our african soil. you won't see such media coverage to white farmers who are making billions of rands by doing the same.

So if one is rich, they can buy a huge piece of a forest with wild animals of course and automatically those animals become his/her property and he/she can sell those animals and even start a hunting business with those animals… It's really sad to be an animal hey, your life in a billionaire's hand just like that.
