Why We Save Horses From Auctions

Hello Everyone, I made a video today, and I want to ask you to take a minute to watch it. It tells my story, and why rescuing horses from auctions is so important. Please make a donation to this month’s auction rescue, without your support horses will be shipped to slaughter that we could have saved. My team and I are the ones on the ground, but we can’t do it without your support. You are the true horse’s heroes, you are the ones skipping out on a cup of coffee or finding a way to make a donation. I can’t tell you how much the horses appreciate your gift of love. Again, please take a minute to watch this video and hear my story. ~ Tawnee Preisner, Founder of Horse Plus Humane Society.

  1. How is this legal. When a horse comes in half strave to death.why dont the auction report that person for animal neglect. Or if a horse comes in that is clearly abused why dont they be made to report the person who took the horse there.why are these animal abusers aloud to get away with it.cause they will just go get another horse and do it all over again.

  2. I feel your pain! I am blubbering uncontrollably watching this video and feeling vicariously… every ounce of pain and sadness. Chin up… one horse at a time you all make a difference!! You are a heroine beyond measure! May God Bless you and your mission!! <3 Aloha to you and Horse Plus! <3

  3. Where is peta, green peace…omgosh my heart is breaking …as soon as my financing changes well actually becomes real like i have no income of yet but soon.i k now this is old video but im watching all videos .watching you grow and save more and more horses!

  4. Thank you so much for saving these poor horses <3 I live in Canada and plan to be VERY busy when I'm older saving horses, cows, and other livestock from slaughter. I will also adopt animals that will be killed in the kill shelters. For now, I'm just saving up to buy a pregnant mare from the kill pen. Again, thank you <3 They deserve so much better.

  5. Omg….. Thank you so much for all you do! Knowing this is happening has been a constant terror in my mind since i was little. I am so glad to hear and see you saving as many as you can. If we could only just stop the whole slaughter business… I just want to say thank you so so so much for giving these precious horses a chance in life! And sharing it with us! I live in the Netherlands, a tiny country with too many people. If one day only i am able to buy some land, i will do what you’re doing! You and your team are amazing! Please keep up the wonderful work! ❤️

  6. I don't have the courage you do to actually go to the auctions. I believe I would get into too many fights with people kicking and hurting horses. My mare was a rescue and was at a body score of 2. Some useless excuse and waste of air threw her away because of a small chip in her fetlock. My baby girl runs everywhere and is sound and healthy.
    Humans disgust me sometimes.

  7. I cry for you every time I watch you. You try so very hard to do what you can. I go and love on my horse and tell him that I love him very much and let him know that he will never go without food as long as I live. I would rather go hungry than have him go without. I pray to God every night asking him to please keep helping you in what ever way that he can and to keep all of you safe. God bless you my dear and your workers

  8. Thats why i wont have animals anymore. The vet charges hundreds more than they used to so people won't take them to the vets. They just dump them.i also was told by my friend thats a sheriff …told me after that horrible storm I forget its name but I guess when they were rescuing people-the dogs turned on rescuers so they started putting chips in all the animals ( they say so they can find their owners) thats not why….its because when things get bad or if they want things to get bad…they can turn off their chip and kill them. So now when disasters come they kill the chipped dogs so they don't have to waste bullets on them. NOT COMMON KNOWLEDGE. NONE OF MY ANIMALS WILL EVER BE CHIPPED. IT COSTS 250. DOLLARS TO HAVE THEM TAKEN OUT OF YOUR DOGS

  9. Horses are amazing!!! We dont deserve them. The should have an entire country with no people just a huge field were no one would ever bother them again. I know Tawnee has been through a lot but like if you love her!!!!!😍

  10. I donate whatever I can, it all adds up and I love knowing I played a small part in saving these poor horses. My six year old granddaughter is horse crazy and she goes through the pictures and helps suggest names for the new horses saved each month. In her eyes I’m the best for trying to save them. ❤️

  11. i was so sad to see all the horses so hurt and i hope that all the people that watched this are going to help you save more horses and you are the best i love that you save horses

  12. Thank you so much for what u do!! There has to be a way the people that let them get that way be held accountable for what they’ve done. We need stricter laws for animal abuse. A slap on the ha d does nothing!
